Praying Hands

A Simple Prayer

October 02, 20242 min read

Dear Heavenly Father,

We dedicate this blog to You.

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Philippians 4: 5

We pray that every post, every comment, every image, and every download be for Your glory. Help us to create content that is pleasing to You and uplifting to others. We want to be honest and loving, kind and welcoming; even on days when our site is down, we receive negative feedback, or we can't figure out how to tweak the simplest thing.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Lord, I pray for all the parents who visit Plenty of Trays. Give them the tools they need to make their way through this journey called parenthood. Help them to seek You first in everything they do. You knit those children in our wombs and have entrusted us to care for them and bring them up in Your ways. This is a huge task but You promise to give us what we need to accomplish it.

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:13

On the days when I sit in front of an empty Word Document, Holy Spirit fill me with your creativity. Lead my fingers. Guide my heart. Make them Yours. For You are the God of creativity and the God who has created all beauty.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Colossians 3:23

And whatever happens, may it be great success or only gathering a few emails, grant that we always keep our eyes on You. Never forgetting the real reasons behind the blog and never allowing our self-worth to be based on worldly things.

Lord, keep us humble, keep us faithful, keep us real, and keep us joyful.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen

Hear What Others Have to Say

Sarah

My 6 year old made us dinner all by herself last night with the meatball recipe and made a salad to go with it! It was amazing!

I almost didn't know what to do with myself not having to cook or help her. Thank you so much!

I just read your guide, it was really awesome! I am grateful for the 29 Montessori definitions to help me better understand some of the things I've heard at my daughter's school but never knew what is was. I can't wait to try your recipe with my girls and for your course to come out.

Thank you again!

We don’t do Montessori (except in the atrium) but love following your page. I also ended up finally getting a kids knife set from Amazon and a small jug for pouring milk based on your recommendation ;) Am considering reorganizing my kitchen so kiddos can unload the dishwasher - they already help with cutlery and plastic items.

Will continue to watch your page and stories for inspiration!

I am your subscriber from another country. Being a Montessori teacher of English for 3 year old kids i find your materials very useful. Thank you.
