While some may think rolling cloth napkins isn't really practical unless you work at a fancy restaurant. There is much more to this work than meets the eye.

Rolling napkins also helps develop your child's concentration and it strengthens his wrists. Once they get really good at it, you could bring the rings and napkins to your kitchen and have them roll them there. Then you will feel like you are eating at a fancy restaurant every day! Not to mention the money you will save by using cloth instead of paper.

Gather:

-napkin rings: check your local dollar store, thrift store or check out the beautiful ones on Etsy. Anywhere from 3 to 6 depending on your child. You can buy more but just have less on your tray.

-cloth napkins: I used washcloths, use any piece of fabric, of course, get one per ring. If you'd like to buy real ones, check out Amazon's huge selection of cloth napkins.

-bowl: big enough for your napkin rings

Place the napkin rings in the bowl, then place the bowl and napkins on a tray.
